It’s not just our clients that have good things to say about us. We recognise that candidates are people too, and they’re crucial to what we do. That’s why we give all of our clients comprehensive feedback.
Keep reading to hear what some of our previous candidates have to say about our resourcing processes.
Just a note of thanks for your candidate experience for the Dogs Trust CEO role. Unfortunately, I didn’t make it through to an interview, but your team took the time to give feedback and help provide some direction on areas to develop. Sadly, a candidate is often left in the dark, so it is refreshing when you get a good recruitment experience – even if it is not the perfect ending! Based on the feedback I will look at the opportunity of trustee/non exec roles so any support you can offer in this field is much appreciated.
Best regards, Richard
I was recruited to a charitable board through Cadence. The team succeeded in pricking my interest in a role I had not thought about before, were welcoming and accommodating throughout the process, and succeeded in achieving that elusive balance between testing and attracting the candidate. I thought that they were a breath of fresh air.
I must say it is the most informative, comprehensive and useful candidate brief I have come across in my career.
Positive, encouraging, interested and fully engaged; the Cadence team support candidates all the way – and get the right people into the right places.
Exemplary search and great people to work with.
I was approached by Cadence to consider a non-executive role at RNIB. It came about as a result of an introductory conversation with Shani, where I was exploring future opportunities.
I spent nearly 2 hours with Shani, where she explored with me not just my experience, but also my passion, what drives me and what interests me. I really felt like she was really getting to know what lay under the surface and what would work for me.
Shani kept in touch with me throughout the process from pre-application to conclusion, ensuring she kept me in touch with the stages.
Really clear communication, keeping in touch, valuable feedback. I really felt like Cadence were interested in me and what I had to offer.
My first contact with Cadence was over 5 years ago; what struck me was how they supported me during the recruitment process and gave me great feedback between the first and second stages. It actually seemed that they wanted me to do well. I did succeed in getting the job and was then surprised how they then kept in touch with me to see how the job was going. Then years later after I had left that job, they rang me about an opportunity, and because they knew me, it was a perfect fit for me, I applied for it and succeeded in getting it.
What I really appreciate about Cadence is that they really want their candidates to do well, support them, and then build a long-term relationship with them. I have only benefited from my relationship with them and recommend them to anyone looking for a job. Cadence works in a way that I would like all recruiters to work.
The team at Cadence Partners supported me in successfully getting the role of Director of England at Macmillan Cancer Support. I was not actually actively looking to move roles, but Shani at Cadence Partners contacted me and whilst I knew about the brand and work of Macmillan Cancer Support, she really sought to help me understand the role, the passion, drive and long-term aspirations of the organisation and most importantly the fit to my future career plans. She was very clear in enabling me to judge alignment of my capabilities, values, interests and passions. The team at Cadence Partners work in a unique way – they are very honest and supportive, from this they can be challenging both in terms of skill and capability gaps as well as fit to a role. They stay in close contact and provide ongoing robust and effective feedback.
Cadence were a real pleasure to work with. As well as being thorough and professional, they designed a process that was both searching and interesting, encouraging me to reflect on my own ambitions and motivations as well as teasing out suitability for the senior post concerned. There was good communication from a very capable team, who were always friendly and accessible. I would highly recommend them.
