Chief Executive, Charity Digital
c. £90k

Charity Digital exists to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of charities by enhancing their digital capability, confidence, and access to affordable digital tools. Our vision is to harness technology as a powerful force for positive change, driving innovation, digital inclusion, and sustainability to build a better future for all. We’ve worked hard to support organisations that have charitable purposes and provide public benefit. Today, Charity Digital is the leading voice on all things digital in the UK charity sector.

Our new Chief Executive will identify and nurture innovative approaches to ensure we remain financially sustainable in a rapidly changing digital world. Growing our user base is an ongoing objective; equally, it is vital that sponsors, supporters and funders continue to see significant benefit in their engagement with us.

You’ll bring a comprehensive professional repertoire that includes strategic planning for growth, budgeting and financial oversight, people leadership, and the skills to drive a strong culture of continuous improvement. Experience of leading within a regulated context is essential.

While you need not be a technical expert, technology literacy is important and an active interest in the field and/or direct experience of digital disruption would be a real asset. Strong candidates will bring an extensive network within the charity sector: you'll relish the opportunity start conversations, build our brand, increase awareness and forge strong relationships across the whole stakeholder map. And it’s essential that you have a broad grasp of the commercial realities of running a charity that aims to provide services and solutions that are low- or no-cost at the point of access.
