Emmanuel is an executive search specialist with over a decade of experience partnering with public sector, charity, and not-for-profit organisations to appoint high-impact senior leaders. Throughout his career, Emmanuel has supported hundreds of organisations at critical moments of change, helping them secure leaders who not only meet the technical demands of the role but are capable of driving meaningful, long-term impact.
A significant focus of Emmanuel’s work has been supporting organisations to design and deliver genuinely equitable recruitment processes. He is particularly experienced in advising on inclusive hiring practices, ensuring organisations widen access to leadership, remove structural barriers, and build teams that better reflect the communities they serve. His approach goes beyond placement alone; he works closely with boards and executive teams to understand organisational context, culture, and future direction, and is frequently invited into succession planning and wider workforce discussions. This enables him to quickly grasp complex environments and identify the leadership capability truly required for the next phase of growth or transformation.
Emmanuel’s commitment to equity and fairness is deeply personal. Growing up as one of very few Black males in an affluent area, he experienced firsthand the impact of inequality and limited access. These experiences continue to shape his work today. As a father of two, he is motivated by a desire to help create organisations and ultimately a society where difference is valued, and opportunity is not constrained by background. Early experiences of poorly handled recruitment processes also left a lasting impression, reinforcing his belief that candidate and client experience should be treated with the same care and professionalism as any other strategic business process.
Outside of work, Emmanuel enjoys keeping active, whether that’s playing football or badminton, or spending time at the gym. He values time with family and friends and is a keen music and film enthusiast.
