Chief Finance Officer
£120k • Based Stratford, London
Mind is changing. Our driving purpose is to ensure that every person who is experiencing a mental health problem across England and Wales gets the support and respect they deserve. With unprecedented challenges facing communities across the UK, the prevalence of mild to moderate mental health conditions is increasing. Tragically, many people with serious mental illness aren’t getting the help they need.
Mind is advocating for transformation in policy, healthcare and communities so that everyone has the chance to live a mentally healthy life. And because the world never stays still, we’re taking brave – and sometimes difficult – decisions to ensure that we’ll be able to continue playing our part in the mental health emergency.
We’ve created this new role as a statement of ambition, of confidence, and of optimism. Our new structure is all about strengthening the organisation to maximise impact and outcomes, and this is no exception. This job will lead our finance and corporate functions to deliver our strategic goal of Business Excellence: you’ll take a whole-system approach, integrating financial systems, controls, reporting and planning to deliver a dynamic function that generates momentum for the whole organisation.
It’s a really high-impact role, and for the right person it’ll be career-defining. We want to meet people whose vision and experience are commensurate with the scale of our ambition. You’ll be an outstanding finance professional, with a reputation in the sector for consistent high performance, outcome-focus and a positive, problem-solving leadership style.
