Committee Chairs (two roles)
Voluntary positions
Kids is on a mission to create a world where all kinds of kids have all kinds of opportunities. Founded in 1970, we have grown into a national organisation supporting over 22,000 children, young people and families each year across England. We are on an ambitious journey to reach at least 120,000 disabled children, young people and their families each year by 2027. Our vision is bold yet achievable: a society where disabled children, young people and their families enjoy equal rights and opportunities.
We now have opportunities to join the board in two key roles. The Chair of the Services & Safeguarding Committee will provide governance leadership for Kids’ service quality, safeguarding and risk oversight; and the Chair of the People, Culture & Governance Committee will guide us as we build a culture rooted in inclusion, wellbeing and effective people leadership.
We're looking for people who share our uncompromising vision of a world where all kinds of children and young people have all kinds of life-changing opportunities, and who bring a mix of professional and personal experience which will extend our capacity and impact.
