We are delighted to have supported ActionAid UK with the appointment of Hannah Bond and Taahra Ghazi as its new Co-CEOs, as the organisation enters a pivotal new chapter in its mission to advance gender justice and challenge the systems that drive poverty and inequality.
Both Hannah and Taahra bring deep organisational knowledge, strong values-led leadership and a shared commitment to feminist principles, having already played key roles within ActionAid UK. Together, they offer a powerful combination of strategic, operational and relational strengths that will help guide the charity through its next phase of transformation and impact.
This appointment reflects ActionAid UK’s belief in shared leadership and collective power, bringing together complementary perspectives and experience to shape the organisation’s future in the UK and across its global federation.
It was a privilege to work alongside the Board and senior team on this internal search, supporting a process that recognised talent from within and centred inclusion, transparency and purpose at every stage.
Congratulations to Hannah and Taahra, and to everyone at ActionAid UK on this important milestone. We look forward to seeing the impact of their leadership in the years ahead.
