​Katya has a diverse background with nearly two years of experience working in recruitment undertaking a range of roles varying from office manager to recruiter. Prior to this, she gained a degree in Geology which sparked an interest in solving environmental problems and promoting sustainable resource management.

Driven by the transformative power of education and the importance of giving back to the community, in her home country of Ukraine Katya dedicated her time to supporting educational initiatives through the Scout Organisation. She has continued this involvement in scouting after moving to the UK, engaging with local communities and fostering a spirit of teamwork, leadership, and service. Whether it’s through professional endeavours or personal passions, she strives to make a difference and leave a lasting impact.

In her free time, Katya enjoys immersing herself in nature through hiking and rock-climbing, as well as exploring different cultures. She also finds solace in creative pursuits such as drawing and poetry which allow her to express her thoughts and emotions.
